Weronika Kudła is a research assistant in the Department of Social Sciences of the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Cracow (Poland) and a member of the expert team of the Religious Freedom Laboratory, administered by the Pro Futuro Theologiae Foundation in Toruń (Poland). She holds a PhD in law from the Faculty of Law and Administration and a master’s degree in Italian studies from the Institute of Romance Studies, both at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow (Poland). She participated in Erasmus Program Studies at Tor Vergata University of Rome, the VIII edition of the Academy of Young Diplomats at the European Academy of Diplomacy in Warsaw. Her research activity has focused on human rights, intellectual property, and media law. Kudla has authored the book Hostility to Religion. Warnings from the Supreme Court of the United States, as well as several academic articles and book chapters discussing the status of religious freedom in public life. She is a member of the International Bar Association’s Human Rights Institute.
